Wide receiver Dez Bryant signed a new contract with the Dallas Cowboys yesterday (July 15). The deal is for five years and $70 million, ESPN reports.

Bryant is represented by Jay Z and Roc Nation Sports.

The Dallas Cowboys released a video of team owner Jerry Jones congratulating Bryant and explaining how he worked out a deal with his agent.

“My hats off to you,” Jones tells Bryant. “You did a good job associating yourself with Jay Z. He’s wonderful. I spent hours with him last night and it was great, thinks a lot of you and I do too.”

Roc Nation Sports also represents basketball player Kevin Durant and baseball player Robinson Cano, among other athletes.

Demaryius Thomas from the Denver Broncos also signed a 5-year $70 million deal minutes before the deadline to sign franchise-tagged players. This makes the two the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
