For those hoping for new music from Virginia Beach lyricist Pusha T, the rapper has revealed that fans can expect new music from him by the “end of summer.” Pusha shared the news while speaking with Revolt TV at the Fresh Dressed premiere event in New York City last month.

The G.O.O.D. Music emcee had this to say when asked about the potential for new music in the immediate feature: “I’m thinking end of summer.”

Pusha also spoke on his recent switch into EDM music, during his interview with Revolt TV. He says his experimentation in the genre stems from his travels around the world.

“It’s a music,” Pusha T said. “Like I travel all over the world and I see the influence of the music. I see these people partying to this music. I’m inside of these places. And I’m one that once I get inside the place and I see it, I’m easily persuaded. So, I’m sorta on my techno, EDM swag at times as well.”

Pusha T was initially scheduled to release his King Push album sometime this year. He spoke on the project during an interview with Vibe magazine in April of this year, declaring that King Push will serve as yet another “Hip Hop album of the year” for him.

“I’ma give you Hip Hop album of the year again,” the rapper said, during his interview with Vibe magazine. “Listen, and y’all asked me before, and I said I wasn’t gon’ say it quite yet ’cause I wasn’t sure. But nah, I’m gonna give you Hip Hop album of the year.”
