Capo, a rapper associated with Chief Keef’s Glo Gang imprint, was shot and killed at around 1:40 pm local time in the 7700 block of South Kingston Avenue, Chicago, Illinois yesterday (July 11), according to Fake Shore Drive.

Although they haven’t identified Capo as the victim, The Chicago Tribune reports that a 22-year-old male was shot in the left hip and back. Various media outlets including the aforementioned Fake Shore Drive and TMZ subsequently named Capo as the victim. After the shooting, it’s reported that the rapper was taken to the Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn but later died of his injuries.

The Chicago Tribune also reports that roughly 20 minutes after the shooting had taken place, a one-year-old child was killed after the car being driven by the suspect or suspects fleeing the scene hit his stroller about three-and-a-half miles northwest of the shooting in the Woodlawn neighborhood. Officer Bari Lemmon, a spokeswoman for the Chicago Police Department, later announced that the young boy had been pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital.
