Meek Mill spent five months in jail and, presumably, the time he spent behind bars provided him life lessons and an opportunity to reflect.

Recently sitting down with REVOLT TV, hot off the release of his latest solo studio album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, the Philadelphia native revealed that he isn’t finished releasing music.

“I had a different album before I went to jail,” he said when asked about all the music he recorded pre-incarceration. “I always see people on Instagram like, ‘Where them other songs at?’ We still gon’ use ’em. They’re coming soon.”

Among the songs rumored to be recorded was a Jay Z and Nas collaboration called “Scarface.” No word yet on whether that track or others would be officially released or the method through which they would be consumed by the public.

Meek Mill also talked about being incarcerated during the interview and how it provided him the opportunity to reflect on his life and career decisions.

“I just used it as motivation,” he replied. “I was in jail for five months. I come back and overcame once again and now we’re here today. I’m dropping a new album and got the people behind me. [It’s] motivation.”
