De La Soul is in the process of making a new album, its first in over a decade.
Posdnuos gave an update on the Kickstarter page to inform fans of the group‘s progress.
“There is no poles and girls dancing,” he says. “There’s work getting done. So yo, we here rocking this, getting this album right for y’all in the studio.”

He also says that fans can expect a survey soon to help the group, which also includes Trugoy and Mase, hear their voices.
“We need to get some important information from y’all,” he says. “Other than that, we here working. We’re definitely here working making an amazing album so check it out.”
De La Soul has raised more than $600,000 in the campaign.
