Last night (June 17), a man opened fire on a Bible study at the historically black Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina according to NBC News. He killed nine people, including the pastor and state senator Clementa Pinckney. The suspect, Dylann Roof, who is white, was apprehended this morning (June 18) in North Carolina.
