Azealia Banks Blasts Katy Perry's "Trap House" Post On Twitter

Azealia Banks actively supports and defends her BFF ultra-white girl Lana Del Rey - who is constantly appropriating other cultures (native Indian in 'Ride video', Hispanic Latina gang culture in 'Tropico'; marrying a black guy in 'National Anthem' just to be provocative) and uses black slang frequently in her lyrics - yet she takes offense at Katy Perry using the term 'trap house'? Smh. Grow up. All I ever see this chick in the news for is badmouthing other people to stay relevant...tho, I guess when you're a one hit wonder that's what you gotta resort to.

Im just finding out about this little exchange, so to speak. But I'd just like to say I dont usually agree with much Banks says or her reasoning behind it, but here I do def understand her questioning Katys choice of words. Don't get me wrong, I do also get that Perry was being funny, BUT with everything that's going on in the world for blacks and whites alike we all should be more aware of our wording and actions period... especially if you have a platform that is visible to millions of people. I tell my 17 year old brother all day if you think about what you say before you say it you can save yourself a lot of unnecessary grief and possibly someone else some unintended negativity or pain(what doesn't offend/hurt you may just offend/hurt someone else).

On sum real shit Banks is a racist and hates anyone who's non white and makes money off of hiphop/r&b music. She's quick to call out white people when they do hiphop, but whats hilarious and what makes her a true racist and hypocrite is has to do with the type of music SHE makes. Has anyone actually listened to her music? It's completely european EDM/Electronica based which everyone knows has been a part of the rave/techno/house scene which has been dominated by whites for decades. She's a complete hypocrite when she says she hates when white people try to do hiphop or try to steal from the culture, but she turns right around and wants to date white guys and make EDM music while trying to fit in with "white" culture. She's a racist. And it comes out when she sees other's being succesful in hiphop culture that she feels should only be for blacks. Those days are longggg over. Hiphop transcends all cultures, whether white or black, indian or asian, and everyone should take anything she says about others with a grain of salt. Banks is a true racist, nothing more. She makes no valid points.

i know this is going to catch some flack but whatever.... i just think it's hilarious that if rappers like nas, jay, or kendrick, to name a few, had said this to someone like iggy or macklemore you guys would agree wholeheartedly... hell you guys freak the fuck out anytime they win something calling them "culture vultures" (rightfully so both artists suck but im digressing).... yet azealia says it about katy perry and you guys side with katy perry instead... why? cuz banks said shed rather date white dudes? hahahaha funniest shit i have seen all day! when some of you guys do the exact same thing by either bashing black women or praising white women... see the double standard?

Banks is horrible, as is anyone who supports her. She deserves to be on the street. All she does is spread hate and racism. And it should read white girls wanna be niggas, not wiggers. A wigger is a white person. So she is stupid as well. Also, if you wanna be against people for using the word trap, aim it at those who didn't grow up in it. Not just people with a particular pigment. Go back to sleep permanently.
