According to AllHipHop.com, Stone Mountain, Georgia rapper Childish Gambino was a no-show at Hot 97 Summer Jam, this past weekend. The website reports that Gambino was to perform after Meek Mill. Instead, Meek’s performance was followed by a surprise set from Brooklyn, New York lyricist Troy Ave.

With all of his social media accounts disabled since late last year, there are little details as to why Gambino didn’t show up for his set at the annual music festival.

An official Facebook account for the rapper/actor, though active, does not feature any posts on the Summer Jam no-show.

News of Childish Gambino being M.I.A. at Summer Jam comes days after VH1 reported that vocalist Aaron Michael Gutierrez accidentally confirmed that Gambino is working on his third studio album.

In a series of tweets, which have since been deleted, Gutierrez spoke on being “honored to be among some of the best vocalists in LA laying 5 tracks to #ChildishGambino’s new album.”

Childish Gambino is also slated to appear in a handful of upcoming films, including Magic Mike XXL and The Martian.
