As of this week, Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea has canceled her “The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour.” HotNewHipHop.com reports that word of the cancelation was released to those who purchased tickets to the tour.

According to the statement, a new tour will be scheduled around the release of Iggy’s next album, which is scheduled for release next year.

“The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. There will be a new tour planned around Iggy‘s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience,” the statement to ticket holders read.

Aside from the mention of a tour next year, no other details on the reason for the cancellation have been revealed.

Iggy did address the cancellation, and also apologized to fans in a tweet sent yesterday (May 29).

“As u may know, the tour is cancelled. I’m so sad and sorry to let my fans down…we’ll be back out on the road when the next album is done,” Iggy wrote.
