French Montana returned to his native Morocco recently to host a party at Club 555 in Marrakech.
The Coke Boys rapper was born in Rabat, Morocco but left the north African country for the United States at age 13.
Three years ago, The FADER joined French as he returned to Morocco to reunite with his family. The publication documented French’s journey in a 2012 cover story, titled “Homecoming.”
His most recent trip to the country was filled with several cultural adventures and a performance at Club 555. The visual was shot and edited by Naj Wareham.
“This video will give you a small idea of how incredible it has been for me to come back home and share my music with my people,” French told FADER. “I left Morocco when I was 13 and the first time ever going back was when I shot the FADER cover. Now, it’s amazing to see this much love from my people.”
