Taylor Swift took to Twitter this morning (May 11) to disclose the celebrities who are set to star in her new “Bad Blood” music video.

Kendrick Lamar was among those listed to appear in the cinematic style visual.

“Meet Welvin Da Great” Swift wrote via Twitter, captioning a black-and-white image of the rapper in character.

Last year, the pop star revealed in a Rolling Stone cover story that she listens to K.Dot when she’s stressed, calling “Backseat Freestyle” her “go-to.” Later, she shared an Instagram video of herself singing along to the track.

Kendrick returned the affection by freestyling over Swift’s pop anthem “Shake It Off.”

And when Kendrick released his latest album, To Pimp A Butterfly, earlier this year, Swift tweeted: “KENDRICK PUT HIS ALBUM OUT EARLY. NO ONE TOUCH ME.”

In addition to announcing Kendrick’s role, Swift tweeted that Zendaya, Elle Goulding and Lena Dunham, among others, will make cameos in the Joseph Kahn-directed music video.

The “Bad Blood” music video is set to premiere Sunday, May 17 at the Billboard Music Awards.
