Drake brought out the Queen of Pop during his headlining performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Sunday (April 12).

Sure, Madonna has praised the 28-year-old rapper for naming a track after her on social media and in interviews, but fans may not have expected Madge to thank Drake so passionately.

As Drake began to perform the song, “Madonna”, he surprised the crowd by bringing out the 56-year-old pop singer. Madonna weaved through a variety of her hits, including “Human Nature” “Hung Up” and “Express Yourself” before locking lips with Drizzy.

“Bitch, I’m Madonna” she said, after the kiss, as she pranced offstage.

A seemingly bewildered Drake responded to the moment by saying, “Holy shit, what the fuck just happened?”

Just last month, Madonna told Us Weekly, “The lifelong ambition I still want to fulfill is to go on a dream date with Drake — and only kiss him.”
