The Doggfather has officially become a grandfather. Earlier this week, it was reported that rapper Snoop Dogg’s eldest son, Corde Broadus welcomed a son named Zion.

XXLMag.com reports that Snoop was out of town during the birth of his grandson, but the Long Beach, California wordsmith did express his excitement via social media.

“Proud grandad. My son spank n grandson Zion !! Jah bless,” Snoop said in the caption to a video of his son and grandson, which was uploaded to Instagram.

“Zion. U have a lot of love WAitn on u grandson !!,” Snoop said in another Instagram caption.
