Macklemore & Fiancee Expecting Their First Child

I'm from Seattle and I don't mind Macklemore, I think people are mostly upset that he was forced to us by the mainstream. I think Macklemore is a good person with good intentions. Does he fuck up? Yes, but I think he's aware of his mistakes and intends to do better. Is he trying to appeal to black people? I don't know, I have no idea where Macklemore's intentions are right now, but I wouldn't be too mad at the idea of him doing such thing. He's gotten popular by white people who buy his music. I think he's just trying to get back down to earth and trying to not let what he's known for ("Thrift Shop", "Same Love", "Can't Hold Us" & "White Walls) define who he is as an artist. I could be wrong though, maybe he's just trying to cover his ass after the Grammy's controversy. But I don't think of him as that type of person. He's not in support of Mike Brown and Eric Garner because he has white guilt, it was just something he felt he wanted to speak on, which is different from a rapper like, say, Logic or Nicki Minaj, who have discouraged people talking about it. He may not have that underground mentality anymore, but I'd like to see him succeed. Still have no idea what this has to do with him having a kid, but whatever. Hope that wasn't too long, just thought I'd offer my 2 cents.
