King Los names Jay Z and Andre 3000 as the last artists to be lyrically incredible while still appealing to the masses.

“I mean Jay Z,” the Baltimore rapper says in an exclusive conversation with HipHopDX during a recording session at Hollywood’s West-One Productions studio. “We think it’s Jay Z and we think it’s Andre 3000, if you want to really be real.

“They capture everything,” Los continues. “The hood loves Andre 3000 [and] the intellects love Andre 3000. The Gil Scott-Herons, they think in his regard that he’s just awesome. The people who know actual music, the musicians love Andre 3000. The singers love Andre 3000. The poets love Andre 3000. All those same muthafuckas love Jay Z. These niggas figured it out.”
