Waka Flocka Flame was arrested today (October 10) for carrying a weapon in a prohibited place, according to TMZ.
The site says the Georgia rapper was apprehended at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after a loaded handgun was discovered in a bag of his during a security scan.
Waka Flocka Flame is being held at Clayton County jail.

UPDATE: Waka Flocka Flame’s mother, Debra Antney, says that he accidentally grabbed the wrong bag when he went to the airport yesterday, according to TMZ.

Antney says the bag is his fiance’s and that they are moving, hence the mix-up.
