Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, and Remy Ma were among the artists discussed during Rah Digga’s recent interview with ThisIs50 Radio.

The Newark, New Jersey rapper revealed that Iggy Azalea is an artist she can’t get into and doesn’t consider Hip Hop. While addressing Iggy, Rah Digga even referenced an Australian female rapper by the name of Chelsea Jane who does rap in an Australian accent.

“Iggy Azalea it’s like I can’t get into her,” Rah Digga said in the interview. “Because it’s just not real to me…There is a white girl from Australia that spits in an Australian accent, and her name is Chelsea Jane. That I can get into. Teach me Australian Hip Hop culture. Don’t come to America and try to convince me that you’re Gangsta Boo…Personally, I don’t consider her Hip Hop. I listen to her album. Everything that I hear on there is everything but that. And I feel like Hip Hop is Hip Hop.”

In regards to Remy Ma, who was released from prison weeks ago, Rah Digga says she hopes Remy does her research and doesn’t rely solely on what she’s heard on the radio.

“I think she’s on a good path,” Digga said. “I think she definitely needs to just do a little homework and kind of like get on these blogs and internet and really see what’s out there…I’ve heard her say she got to listen to the radio while she was in jail. And I feel like listening to the radio by itself will make you think like ‘Oh, that’s all? That’s my competition? I’m straight.’ I don’t think she’s really aware of how much dopeness is out there…If I was her I wouldn’t try to jump in the Barbie box.”

Rah Digga was also questioned about her relationship with Busta Rhymes during her interview with ThisIs50 Radio. According to the rapper, the two artists are cool with one another, but don’t communicate that often.

The former Flipmode Squad lyricist then offered her insight into why Busta doesn’t seem to stay with a label or crew for too long.

“I mean we cool. We not BFFs,” she said. “I definitely reached out with the passing of his father. We don’t really communicate like that. It’s all love…I’ll say this about Busta. He’s very driven. And I think the problem with Busta is if anything I think he just doesn’t have enough confidence in his self to really like be that machine and go for it. Really establish your own brand like that. I mean, we did it with Flipmode and we bounced through a couple of situations. And I can’t say everything was Busta’s fault because at the end of the day everybody had to hold they own. I didn’t wait for Busta.”

Lastly, Rah Digga rattled down the list of projects she’s currently working on.

“Working on a few different things,” Digga said. “I’m working on a three song Hip-House EP. I’m working on an actual live band EP with a live band. Like seven, eight joints. Just something I thought of. A nice, little creative twist for me. And the Hip Hop of course. I got a [blend] tape on the way. And I also have an album on the way. So, the stuff that I been leaking is—Are things that’s gonna be a part of the album.”
