ScHoolboy Q announced today (September 9) that he has started to work on his follow-up to this year’s Oxymoron.

During a recent interview with HotNewHipHop, the Top Dawg Ent. emcee said he does not know what this album’s direction will be just yet.

“I just started yesterday, so I really don’t know,” Q says. “I mean I know what I wanna do, but things change. I knew what I wanted to do with Oxymoron in 2012 but I didn’t drop it til 2014.”

ScHoolboy Q goes on to say that he is not planning on releasing too many songs in the near future. Instead, he says he will focus on his album.
