Earlier this month, Cassidy said that he would be getting paid $250,000 to battle Dizaster at Fresh Coast/FilmOn’s “Ether” event in Los Angeles in December.

Dizaster disputes that claim.

“He’s not getting that,” Dizaster says according to a story on BattleRap.com. “Nah. But he’s getting a lot. That’s not the number, no. Rappers always up it up a little bit. I guess it’s part of—I think it’s an East Coast rapper thing like, ‘Yeah, man, I got paid a billion dollars for my last battle.’ All them fools do that shit. [Murda] Mook, [Aye] Verb, all of them just fuckin’ lie. DNA, they all lie about how much money they get, every single one of them.”

Dizaster also says that he’s getting paid less than Cassidy for the battle.
