Joan Rivers, a comic, passed away Thursday (August 4). She was 81.
Rivers, a veteran comedian who began doing stand-up in the 1950s and became one of the best known, most successful female comics of all time, was celebrated by several rappers following the news of her passing, including 50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Ja Rule.
