9th Wonder announced yesterday (August 19) that Nottz would be joining Jamla’s The Soul Concil. 

“The Soul Council has gotten 10 times stronger today with the arrival of Nottz into the house we call Jamla,” 9th Wonder says in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “It is an honor to have arguably the best beatmaker walking the planet as a teammate and fellow soldier in the good fight. One love to Nottz, and to the great state of Virginia.”

This follows a series of Twitter posts about the announcement.

Nottz, who raps and produces, has worked with other double threats throughout his critically acclaimed career, including Alchemist and Pete Rock. He will continue to operate under his own brand, Raw Koncept.
