In the same week that brought news of a reported split between Future and Ciara, the Atlanta rapper took to his social media accounts to promote the upcoming release of a new single. The single, titled “Monster,” is scheduled for release tomorrow (August 18).

The latest promotion for the single follows reports from Buzzfeed last week that the rapper’s next project is titled Evol and slated for a Fall release. Evol, a reversal of the word “love” pronounced like “evil” will be available on iTunes. “Future has a weird way to love,” a source reportedly told the website. “You might see it’s not all the way right, but it’s still love. It’s not traditional love.”

Future promoted the upcoming Metro Boomin produced single on Twitter earlier today after releasing a snippet on Instagram.

The same Buzzfeed reports also quotes a source alluding that the rapper’s upcoming music will touch on the news of the called off engagement. “Future’s one of those dudes you don’t really interview,” the source said. “To know what’s going on in his life that day, you gotta go to the studio that day. He just takes longer to put his words together and his thoughts.”
