    1. What the fuck? How long has Fancy been #1 now? And now Iggy has the #1 and #2 spot?

      Damn son. #PrayForHipHop

    2. stop calling this hip-hop single sales theres only 2 songs on here that could be considered hip-hop and even thats a stretch to say wayne and drake are hip-hop

    3. Bros, this sh*t is really scaring me. The appropriation of Hip Hop is real. I’m fine with whites in Hip Hop, but not at the expense of keeping real dudes out of our own genre. It’s sad that the only mainstream album I’m anticipating at the moment is Kendrick’s. I think he’s dope, but there should be more talent out here on a commercial level.

      1. Nuff said. Broken down to the last compound. Could not have said it better myself. ” The covert war on Hip Hip”, You Tube.

        Peace to the GODS.

    4. Now the industry can crown Iggy their Queen to match their King Eminem.

Did anyone predict that a foreign born white chick using a mock southern accent would dominate the HipHop charts? With the recent success of Mackelmore and Iggy I see no need why the Major labels
      should invest in African American.

The biggest artist under 40 is a Canadian born half-white Jewish kid who sings and croons in his raps almost as much as Fergie.

The white-washing of mainstream HipHop music is now complete.

      1. It’s not white washing dumb fuck the majority of the country are white blacks are like 15% they’re nothing how do you expect them to compete with whites? Same thing you like real hiphop whites like to dance and beats. So stop with all that conspiracy bullshit if you want to sell you have to put in mind that teenage white girls make a big majority of the buyers that’s plane simple you are not a threat to whites man and hiphop is not a threat to whoever you’re referring to

      2. White-skinned boys like the one in the last comment will turn red in their faces and resort to
name calling and profanity if you dare mention that a culture created by an underclass of Black and Brown people is not only majority controlled by white executives but is now replacing Black artists with white artists as well.

We saw the same thing happen with Rock music which went from Chuck Berry to Elvis Presley to Bono….. Rap Music went from MC Lyte to Iggy Azelia in 25 years?!?!

When people look at an African-American musical artform like Jazz they see Kenny G as the greatest selling Jazz musician of all time just like Emienem for Rap…white-colored people LOVE to see a reflection of themselves mimicking Black rhythms and culture.

The white-washing of cultures is just like the white washing of sugar, bread or rice or any other organic substance that has the essential vitamins and nutrients stripped from it….it loses its substance and becomes a weak and watered down version of the original.

      3. bitch please dont compare this one hit wonder to Em who’s been going 15+ years strong dominating the genre. Her album still only halfway gold.

      1. He need Drake cause half the buyers are either girls or gays and Drake got respect from every girl and fag out there not hating just saying the truth I BEEETT you if you ask any girl or gay dude if they like Drake and bring straight men and do a survey you will find out the majority are girls and gays.

      2. stop it 5. weezy was making music for lil girls and gays long before drake got signed. hes the original homo thug rapper remember he kisses his “daddy” on da mouf?

    5. Once you’ve had the pussy of a fit White woman you won’t go back. That applies to hip-hop as well, White women are about to take over. I’m just going to sit back and enjoy the view.

    6. lets see pharrell g i r l. album goes gold, single goes 6x platinum, and other single goes gold….i say that’s a very successful record.

    7. Iggy and Aubrey paving the way for Matisyahu to step in the game and complete the appropriation of rap from us niggas.

    8. I have know problem with the scarcity of white rappers in hip hop, which does come across watered down.Even though they are riding high off the backs of black culture music and selling quite well for whatever reason, there are still too many successful black rappers out there. For the few white rappers in hip hop, there are still far more black rappers. If you do the numbers, blacks are still holding hip hop down.Peace!
