VladTV caught up with both 40 B.A.R.R.S. and Jaz The Rapper after their battle at Queen Of The Ring’s “No Holds Barred,” an event that took place Saturday (June 28) at Irving Plaza in New York. In the interview, both emcees discussed the battle, with 40 saying she got “3-0’d,” while Jaz The Rapper labels herself as the “Queen of Battle Rap.”

During the battle, 40 B.A.R.R.S. experienced multiple chokes that resulted in her forfeiting her third round.

“I got fuckin’ 3-0’d,” says 40 B.A.R.R.S. “I didn’t get any of my rounds complete. I fucked up. I took too many battles — nah, I’m not gonna make any excuses. I wasn’t prepared and I lost. Shout-out to Jaz. She won.”

Jaz The Rapper said she was pleased with how she battled, but questions why her opponents continually choke against her.

“I felt good about how I did,” she says. “I knew what I had, and I said that in many interviews, I was coming to put on a show. I couldn’t speak on what 40 was gonna do. I delivered all my rounds how I planned to, I didn’t have any slip-ups or chokes, but it’s funny 40 did. People keep asking me, ‘Yo, do you do voodoo?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t. I really don’t. I just Rap.’ And I’m not aggressive. I’m not intimidating at all. I be smiling in the ring, ‘Why ya’ll keeping choking? And ya’ll don’t be on ya’ll A game.”

Elsewhere in the interview, 40 B.A.R.R.S. spoke on how she felt after the first round and what lessons she’s learned from the battle. Jaz The Rapper gave an answer as to why her opponents always seem to choke against her and whether or not she feels she is the Queen of Queen Of The Ring.
