Steve Aoki, who recently worked extensively with Waka Flocka Flame, says he has a lot of respect for another rapper, as well.

“My respect for Eminem, Marshall, if there’s a God, Daft Punk and Eminem,” Aoki says in an interview with Montreality. “All of his first album, the most seminal Eminem albums, would be by far the ones that stand the strongest. Although, his latest album [The Marshall Mathers LP 2] was incredible. ‘Rap God’ is one of the best songs I’ve heard in a while.”

“It was a really good synergy, and I always like to bring something new to the table for the whole audience,” Aoki said at the time. “[Waka Flocka Flame] just turned it up more than a lot of deejays turn it up. People left all the shows with an experience they’ll never forget.”
