Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. is slated to play Ice Cube in the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, according to The Wrap.
Universal hasn’t confirmed this casting, according to the publication. Nevertheless, the site says several individuals close to the project have confirmed the casting to The Wrap.
In February, Cube spoke with The Guardian. The former N.W.A star confirmed rumors that he wants his son, O’Shea, to play him in the movie.

“Yes. I’ve been trying to get that pushed along,” Ice Cube said at the time. “Just wanna make sure that he’s the best man for the job.”
