Rihanna, who posed topless last month in lui, won the Fashion Icon of the Year award at this year’s Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards in New York. 

The singer attended the event in a see-through gown, a custom piece by Adam Selman that featured 216,000 Swarovski crystals, according to Billboard. 

“I can compensate for all of my weaknesses with fashion,” Rihanna said when accepting the award. “Fashion should never be frustrating, it should be fun.”
