Soulja Boy says footage of a 15-year-old Justin Bieber using the N-word and making racist comments should be forgiven, according to TMZ.
"We all make mistakes when we are young, it’s part of growing up," Soulja Boy says.
The publication also reports that Soulja Boy does not think Bieber is racist.
"Soulja says Justin is still his boy and people should not think Justin is racist...because he isn't," the site says.
In the video, which can be seen here, the singer asks why Black people are afraid of chain saws and uses the N-word in his answer to his question.
Bieber has apologized for his actions in the video.
"Five years ago I made a reckless and immature mistake and I'm grateful to those close to me who helped me learn those lessons as a young man," he said in a statement. "Once again....I'm sorry."
