Lupe Fiasco has been named Music Director for the men’s national soccer team and Art Director for the Men’s National Team’s 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign, according to Fake Shore Drive.

The Chicago rapper will reportedly collaborate with U.S. Soccer during its Send-Off Series and the World Cup. He is slated to create Spotify playlists with SNDCLSH and coordinate in-game music programming during the Send-Off Series.

U.S. Soccer will also be promoting Lupe Fiasco’s recently released “Mission” single. He is slated to appear in Times Square in New York during Fan Appreciation Day on May 30.

Lupe Fiasco is also scheduled to appear at the U.S. Soccer Fan Fest prior to the USA’s June 16 match against Ghana in Chicago.
