Lil Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant, has addressed Tha Carter V image posted by Kobe Bryant and ReTweeted by Lil Wayne yesterday (April 28) with his own Twitter statement made today (April 29). 

“The Image that was posted yesterday is NOT the album cover! It’s just to let the fans know that CarterV Season is here,” Bryant says.

Kobe Bryant revealed what many speculated could be Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V cover art via social media. His caption for the image is as follows: “Carter V season begins #carterV”

Lil Wayne followed this up by posting an image of Kobe Bryant’s Instagram post on Twitter. His caption: “Believe me.”
