A member of the Detroit-based rap group Doughboyz Cashout may have found himself drawn into the feud between rappers Freddie Gibbs and Jeezy following a series of tweets sent over the weekend.

According to XXLmag.com, Doughboyz Cashout member HBK referred to Gibbs as a “bum” when a Twitter follower mentioned the Gary, Indiana emcee.

Gibbs then came across HBK’s tweets and responded with a series of tweets of his own. He poked fun of the CTE World signee who was jumped and then robbed last year during an event at Detroit’s Cobo Center. The rapper then went on to announce that he would be in the Motor City on May 1 for a show.

Towards the end of his rant, Gibbs alluded to Jeezy, as he warned of stepping in the line of fire for someone “that don’t give a fuck about u.” He also revealed that he has no beef with anyone, especially artists who can’t compete with him.

It’s been nearly one year since Doughboyz Cashout, which consists of HBK, Payroll, Doughboy Quis and Doughboy Dre, signed to the Jeezy-led CTE World. The signing of the group came months after Freddie Gibbs confirmed that he had left the label.

In the time since Gibbs’ departure from CTE, he’s released a diss record aimed at Jeezy and proclaimed himself a better rapper than the Atlanta emcee.
