Queens, New York native Pharoahe Monch is preparing for the release of his fourth studio album, P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), due to hit shelves April 15.

That night, the Organized Konfusion rapper is to rock the stage of SOB’s in New York for the official album release party, which is powered by HipHopDX. 

“I’m so excited to be performing in honor of my fourth solo album release at the legendary SOB’s,” Pharoahe Monch says in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “This venue has been home to so many classic shows and has been a favorite of mine over the years, including my last album release show. So the tradition continues and we will be setting this one off on April 15 to celebrate the release of P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I’m inviting my friends and peers and, most importantly, the fans to be part of this event.”

Fans can expect to see Pharoahe Monch perform tracks off the album, including his lead single “Bad M.F.” Special guests are also expected to appear. 

Doors are set to open at 7:30pm with the show commencing at 9:30pm. Tickets are $20, $25 on the day of the event, and can be purchased from SOB’s website or TicketWeb. 

Monch’s latest project features Black Thought and Talib Kweli, as well as production from Lee Stone, Marco Polo, Jesse West and Quelle Chris.
