Edo.G has announced that he will be releasing his eleventh studio album, After All These Years. The collection is slated to feature guest appearances from Chuck D, Camp Lo and Guilty Simpson, as well as production from Pete Rock, 9th Wonder and Explicit One.

The Boston rapper says he hopes to release the album in July.

“I always seem to adapt and change while never changing,” Edo.G says in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “With my eleventh studio album, I decided to go a new direction with crowd funding via Kickstarter. I wanted to get my true fans and supporters more involved in the making of this album with incentives, like being a part of the music video, access to my live shows worldwide, names in the artwork credits and more, instead of just releasing album through traditional methods. I wanted the fans to be more part of the experience. I feel like this is one of my best albums because I have nothing to prove. I am bringing it back to that conscious BoomBap and smashing ’em lyrically.”

The collection will be released independently on CD in an Eco-friendly Digipak and colored double vinyl LP. Only 500 copies of the latter will be made.

Edo.G says that the funding of After All These Years will go toward mixing and mastering, producer fees, graphic artwork fees, manufacturing the CD and limited-edition colored double vinyl LP. The money raised will also go toward the Edo.G’s Top 10 Verses book, the release of the tenth anniversary Edo.G and Pete Rock’s My Own Worst Enemy cassette and a limited-edition Edo.G T-shirt.

Edo.G says that his Kickstarter supporters will be offered an exclusive Edo.G T-shirt as part of its rewards section program.
