Immediately following his performance during the Strange Music Showcase at SXSW (March 12), Tech N9ne shared the childhood moment in which he most wishes that he had Instagram.

“I wish I had a picture of my 7th Grade teacher when she was sucking my dick,” the Kansas City, Missouri native revealed in an exclusive conversation with HipHopDX. “During lunchtime I stayed in her room. Damn, I can’t believe I said that.”

Tech N9ne also provided an update on Strange Music’s upcoming Collabos: Strangeulation as well as the Independent Grind Tour which begins next month.

“I’m done working on the new project,” he said. “It’s all the [Strange Music] artists together having the industry in a chokehold. That’s why it’s called Strangeulation—like “strangulation.” We just got the master back yesterday. It comes out May 6 [2014]. We’re about to start a fucking 70-plus city tour on April 9. It’s called the Independent Grind Tour with Freddie Gibbs, Jarren Benton, Psych Ward Druggies, Tech N9ne and big Krizz Kaliko.”

Along with Tech N9ne, Strange Music’s SXSW showcase featured performances by Krizz Kaliko, Rittz, Stevie Stone, Ces Cru, Murs and ¡Mayday! Shade45’s Rude Jude hosted the event and Bootleg Kev provided music.

“[This was our] second show today,” Tech N9ne said. “I can’t believe I still have a voice. Strange Music all day all night, that’s what we’re pushing. We’ve been doing this for 15 years and we’re still on the incline. Tonight’s performance was bonkers, even though my voice was going in and out. We killed that shit.”
