Rick Ross On Being A CO: "I'd Do It Again"

Rick Ross on past as a correctional officer: "To feed my family, I'd do it again. To feed my kids, I'd go get it."

When a photograph of Rick Ross as a correctional officer was revealed in 2008, the rapper said it was likely altered and that "online hackers" placed his face on another man's body. Eventually, however, his past as a CO was verified by the rapper.

Ross appears to address this matter on Mastermind. "Feds tore the crew apart," Ross raps on the "Rich Is Gangsta." "That's why I had to play my part, nigga / That wasn't me, it was just a job, nigga."

"That particular line most definitely referred to me being a CO," Ross says in a recent MTV interview.

His past as a CO is not one he would change, the rapper says.

"I wouldn't change nothing 'cause to me it's about who Rozay is," Ross says. "It's about me. Anywhere I go, when I step in the room, I put it down. People know it's authentic right here. They know it's real. So it was nothing that I was personally threatened with. I was just ready to move on. Let's go get this money. Let's make this music.

"And right now, to feed my family, I'd do it again," Ross continues. "To feed my kids, I'd go get it. We gon' get it. My whole team gon' go get it. We gon' win. And that's with everything we ever did. I been winning, though."

"Comparing to Ross? Yes, it does" Ross is worth 30 million. Prodigy isn't even worth 10, and has no career. Now who's real.

  • Does Rick Ross Really Have $92 Million In His Checking Account?

No. What? That wasn't a good enough answer for you? What more do you need to know? You're really gonna make us get into this??? Ughhh. OK fine. Over the last few days we've received a few angry emails and comments from Celebrity Net Worth visitors who believe our estimate for Rick Ross' net worth is way too low. We currently have Mr. Ross at $28 million. Not exactly a pittance, but according to the angry emails, this number should be raised to $92 million. More precisely, they think the number should be raised to $92,153,183.28. Where are people getting this number? None other than Ricky Rozay himself! Here's what's going on On March 3, 2014, Rick Ross released his sixth studio album "Mastermind". The third track of the album is called "Drug Dealers Dream". Not to be picky, but the word "Dealers" in that song title should technically be "Dealer's". That's a possessive noun. This track starts out with an audio recording of one of those automated voices reading a bank checking account balance. The automated voice dryly states: "Please hold while I locate your information. Your checking account balance is $92,153,183.28. This reflects the most current information available on your account." Clearly the implication here is that Rick Ross called up his bank, selected the option to check his account balance and then recorded the results. All $92 million worth of results. But is this possible? Could Rick Ross really have this much money sitting in checking? Is he following the Floyd Mayweather savings and investment plan? (A few months back, Floyd Mayweather showed a reporter his ATM receipt that had a checking account balance of $125 million.) Or is this just a run-of-the-mill rapper exaggeration? First off, if somehow this brag is true, keeping $92 million in a checking account would be a colossally stupid way to allocate money. Checking accounts might AT MOST earn around 0.50% interest nowadays. The national average is probably closer to 0.10%. Splitting the difference, Rick would be earning just $184,000 in interest per year off his massive wealth. That's not nothing, but as any basic financial planner would explain, taking the money out of checking and putting it into mutual funds, ETFs, maybe a few stocks, should conservatively be able to yield a 5% rate. That would bring Mr. Ross $4.6 million a year from interest alone. If he got lucky with the right hedge fund, Rick might be looking at $10-$15 million. The second big problem with keeping that much money in checking is the fact that only $500,000 is insured by the FDIC. If Rick's bank goes under, which as well know isn't exactly impossible nowadays, Rick's money would evaporate overnight without any recourse. Ok so we've established that keeping $92 million in checking is clearly a bad idea. The more important question is whether or not Rick Ross actually has $92 million in the first place. Our current estimation of Rick's net worth is $28 million. That number might go up in a few weeks when we release our annual list of the richest rappers on the planet, but we're talking about a bump of maybe $5-6 million. Definitely not $62 million. Don't trust us? Well according to Forbes, which we think is a little too conservative with their estimates, Rick earned $6 million in 2012 and $9 million in 2013. That's a grand total of $15 million during what were arguably Rick's peak earning years to date. Let's also keep in mind that in order to have a checking account balance of $92 million, Rick would conceivably needed to earn a little less than twice that amount before taxes. And that's before he spent a dime on cars, jewelry, houses, private jets, vacations and biggest expense of them all for Rick: Food. Even if Rick was the most penny-pinching saver in the world, we're still talking about $200-$250 million in earnings over the last 3-4 years, in order to be left with such a gargantuan bank account. Unfortunately, this isn't reality. Even for Mr. Maybach Music himself. In conclusion, it's pretty safe to say that this is simply one rapper making an extremely over-exaggerated brag.

"Ice T, No Malice, Canibus, Mystical, Nate Dogg were all military" Then why did they rap about selling drugs, gangs, and the same material trappings as Ross? Canibus is broke as a joke, and Nate Dogg died leaving his fam high and dry. At least Ross is providing for his even if his day job is drenched in lies.

    • Anonymous

They didn't rap about the same shit as Ross. They didn't make up a drug-dealer persona and lie about their past.

  • Anonymous

"Let's also keep in mind that in order to have a checking account balance of $92 million" Why is a guy not worth 92 million trying to expose another guy not worth 92 million? Who cares? The point being Ross is living comfortably.

  • wu4lyf

Just gotta listen to Triple Beam Dreams and decide which verse moves you more. There's the difference that highlights what Ross is as a rapper. He has his place, but I just can't consider him a top calibre emcee. I wish he could just exec produce for some other people instead, as his ear (or whoever manages his production) is undeniably good.

I got friends that tell obvious lies all the time. I don't even say nothing about it I just not my head and agree with them. Then when they not around me and the homies all have a good laugh about all those blatant lies. It doesn't make them bad but I just don't get why they have to lie over the dumbest stuff sometimes. I assume thats how a lot of Rick Ross' peers look at him. They know he's lying but he's not really hurting anyone and it don't make him a terrible person so they let it slide and get money with him but definitely laugh at him when he's not around.

    • ********

that is the realest shit ive read in a comments sections, some people just deluded haha always telling lies to seem cool but making themselves look like fools

Diddy was the ultimate liar of all time, and nobody talked behind his back. They were too busy cashing the checks he gave them. That's how it is with Ross. His people may not respect him 100%, but they realize without him they'd be homeless.

  • mike

this clown finally admits to being a correctional officer.......5 years after the picture first came out......lol.......should have said it from the beginning.....it is a damn shame when we glorify fake drug dealers and real dealers over people who have legitimate jobs......one of the reasons we have so many problems with in our communities

The same bloggers that knock Ross for having a job for a short amount of time will give Dr Dre love even when we all know that Dre never spent a minute in the streets compared to Ross who has multiple people in and out the Feds who he grew up with. Dr. Dre was always a hip hop musician and made plenty of classics before people gave a fuck about what rappers do or did off stage. PS Hood cats aren't always gangstas or dopeboys, some play ball, some rap, some study, some have jobs and just happen to decent people in the wrong neighborhood.

Ross fans all know its just entertainment. That would've gotten a pass if he said that FROM THE BEGINNING and not after getting caught lying on a life he push to convince you fans was actually his. Dumbass. Ice T, No Malice, Canibus, Mystical, Nate Dogg were all military. Your boy Rozay lied about having an honest job like that's a bad thing, don't act like he lost respect for having that job, he lost respect for lying and now he's backtracking.

  • Versus

I wouldn't even mind Rick Ross as much if he wasn't so extremely fake. Telling stories through your raps is one thing, and I don't even mind him rapping about crimes he did not commit, I mind the fact that he acts so incredibly fake and he tries so hard to be a gangster. Being forced to commit crimes is not something to be proud of, it's something some people have to live through. When you see an interview of Ross, the whole act, it's just pathetic. Granted, a job as a CO isn't an honourable position, but if you're ashamed of working WITH the law rather than against, there is something seriously wrong with you. Fuck Rick Ross.

I don't even care about the CO thing anymore. Every rapper talks about shit they haven't personally done. It's called telling stories and seeing the world through different perspectives than your own. Kind of like what art is all about. But he should have just picked a different name or paid the real Rick Ross and got his permission to use it. He's not even alluding to the name. He literally just stole his name and tried to use his image to create his gangster rap persona. Clearly he was never a gangster or sold drugs or he wouldn't have to do this. But he got away with it and now he's getting money and reminding all of his fans who gave him that money about how much of it he has. Congratulations to everyone envolved.

    • hahaha

Hahahahaha, this is so fuckin true. Corny white and dumb hood rats are loosing their shit over these few words tho. "Ross is rich and u r just a fuckin hater" said every fuckin idioit out there. Also it's funny how people always say shit like "well most rappers were not really gangsters" while that's not actually true. There are plenty of rappers who were gangbangers. Don't get me wrong here, I don't want my rappers to be super fuckin auhentic but ross takes it to the next level - there is absolutely nothing honest and real about his music. It's basically pop music for niggaz and pre-teens. Reperative lyrics with the same cliches and basically not saying anything.

  • That Dude in His Basement

Suburban whites who don't have the street IQ to know the difference between a C.O. and a policeman are still heartbroken that Ross doesnt know Pablo Escobar and that JayZ didn't lose 92 Bricks. The Streets and people who listen to music for entertainment don't concern themselves with weather or not Dr Dre was ever a "Gangsta" or if Pusha T ever sold kilograms or if Snoop ever lived off the earnings of a prostitute....we listen to rap-music for the sound of the instruments and the slickness of the poetry. Suburban whites listen to our music so they can live out a "Ghetto" fantasy through the lives of our rappers which is why they focus so much on what they perceive as real/fake or fabricated/authenticated...our music is their only means of getting a street education so they actually attempt to believe song lyrics are supposed to be biographical criminal confessions.

"Shit, Gunplay is notorious for drugs and guns and he been with Ross for decades but fanboys ignore that" He been with Ross for decades and got pushed to back burner for Meek, Wale, Stalley, Rockie Fresh and even Omarion. At least 50 put his main niggas on and made them millions, even Yayo got an album out. Gunplay about to be 35 years old with no release date for his first album. What a long and prosperous career he has in store for himself if he can stay out of prison and not overdose.

    • Anonymous

"Shit, Gunplay is notorious for drugs and guns " Gunplay is notorious for being a junkie and USING drugs, not selling them. He's also notorious for being an industry punching bag. I seen a picture of him getting carried out of his show in Tampa looking like a statue! They knocked that boy out at his own damn show! As far as the guns, sure we all saw that retard run up on his account without a mask on and pistol whip him on camera like a bitch nigga but that ain't gangsta.

"its why kids without a street IQ are baffled why Yo Gotti and Nip Hussel are supporters of a rapper that they consider a fraud." Nobody is baffled by that. Ross is popular and they aren't it's quite simple.

The same bloggers that knock Ross for having a job for a short amount of time will give Dr Dre love even when we all know that Dre never spent a minute in the streets compared to Ross who has multiple people in and out the Feds who he grew up with. Shit, Gunplay is notorious for drugs and guns and he been with Ross for decades but fanboys ignore that. They killed Ross BF P-Nut and gave his BF Jamar a Fed case but bloggers think Ross isnt a nigga qualified to speak on the streets of his city. But that's why so many street rappers do music with Ross and disrespect the opinions and feelings of bloggers who only know him from the internet

A street IQ is having street knowledge its why kids without a street IQ are baffled why Yo Gotti and Nip Hussel are supporters of a rapper that they consider a fraud. Rappers that are from the streets have a different view of life from kids who blog on Rap forums:

Lord Jamar does most of his interviews with DJ Vlad, who Rick Ross had his bodyguards assault for asking him about his former job locking niggas up in a cell so it's doubtful we will ever hear Jamar's perspective on this. Vlad cost Ross a lot of money and now he doesn't seem to cover anything Ross related. I feel like it could go one of two ways. 1. Jamar would Salute Ross for being a black man and getting money. 2. Jamar would shake his head all all the fuckery and bullshit that William is putting out into the world, influencing communities all over the country that dealing drugs is super awesome and the path to riches!

  • Anonymous

Dear Rick Ross: As someone who survived several rap beefs, I'm going to give you some advice. You need to seriously address the threats and attempts on your life. You have worked hard to become a big name in hip-hop. You've paid your dues and you've grown lyrically since the release of your debut album, Port of Miami, in 2006. You've arrived, buddy. But all this gangster bullshit is jeopardizing your career. No club or arena is going to risk people getting shot. You can forget about doing any tours or CD signings. And if you can't make money, watch how fast Warner Bros. Records turns on you. I know from experience how venues and the music industry would like to black ball you. You have the Gangster Disciples breathing down your neck because you've named-dropped Larry Hoover, the gang's founder, in your music. Unlike the record and book publishing industries, these bad dudes don't understand the concept of public domain. They see you getting rich forever by rapping about their leader, and they don't like it. That's why they're on YouTube talking about how you need to go see them and cut a check. It's a shame you can't enjoy life without spending part of your earnings on heavy security or risking your freedom by purchasing an arsenal. Remember, that's what landed T.I. and Lil Wayne in prison. You don't want that to happen to you. However, those are the consequences of rapping about being something you're not. Hip-hop has a rich history of college guys who never committed a crime rapping about moving kilos of cocaine and taking out snitches. Every gangster rapper takes on the role of a real hood legend to build up street cred. But I don't want you to fall into the trap of believing you are really a gangster. Trust me, you don't want to go out like Biggie Smalls or Tupac. It's time you squash your beefs.

Run Dmc? Fool those are legends. I could most likely convince myself to Hate Ross if I was that type of person but Im not a hater and whatever he has done thats so horrible I have forgiven him already. One of my favorite rappers is Big Pun and when some people ask me why I still listen to his music after the video came out of him pistol-whipping his wife in front of his kids but I explained to him that I listen to rappers who have robbed people, raped people, murdered people and poisoned their own families with drugs so if I stop listening to Pun should I stop listening to JayZ who shot his blood brother and sold drugs to his mother? People love Biggie but the LiL Kim documentary detailed the horrendous beatings that Biggie gave Kim and how he forced her to abort his child. Biggie is till the illest and I still love his music. A rapper lying to an interviewer over his employment might be a horrific and unforgivable act in your world but in my world people who abuse women and backstab friends are much worse but even still I can separate the artist from their past or personal lives.

"The reality of all that is that Ross is twice a bigger artists than he was before and 50 is no longer even a relevant artist now." Don't get ahead of yourself. 50 damn near owned a decade and literally shifted the balance of the entire rap game. Shifts that are still being felt. And he's poised to make a major come back musically with his new label situation. Business wise, it's not even close. Ross couldn't even keep a sneaker deal. Ross is only twice as big in the literal sense.

His momma had a nice house in an upscale community called ROLLING OAKES ESTATES, not no hood shit. Someone posted this before so I copied it about CC. "I grew up in Carol City. I graduated from the same school as Rick Ross and Flo-Rida, Miami-Carol City Senior High School. The perception (which Ross has put forth) is that Carol City is the hoodmeaning, some hardcore area, full of projects, liquor stores, gangs and an unsafe place to walk through at night. But I say, Carol City is not the hood! This Carol City Cartel drug imagine that Ross raps aboutnever seen it or heard of it! Carol City is my neighbor hood? I dont think so! Carol City is my neighborhood! You can still walk down 183 Street at night! Hell, Dolphin Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins was built in Carol City! (ca.. 1995) Do you think that those crakkas wouldve put and multi-million dollar stadium in some dilapidated ghetto/hood? The happy-go-lucky, sing-song rap style of Flo-Rida (another Carol City resident) is a more truthful depiction of the environment we grew up in. Rosss grimy tales of drug dealing in Carol City just seems a little dishonest and contrived."

youtube.com/watch?v=ovn8KW4qhZg in this interview he claims he was making all these big moves at 17... so if that was the case why go to college to study criminal justice and play football? why work in a prison? CMON RICKY YO STORY DONT ADD UP.

"You have a musical acronym" - Rick Ross acronym noun an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word (e.g., ASCII, NASA ). Nice try, Ricky! I think you mean "acumen." He was so proud of himself when he said that shit too. Huge smile on his big dumb head

    • Anonymous

The dumb monkey can't even pronounce the brand he named his record label after properly. I remember he rapped about his Porsche Panorama on one song too.

  • Fish

    Fuck Officer William Leonard!!

  • Anonymous

It doesn't matter, people will still buy his records, still go to his shows and still by his mastermind cups. He's famous now, you readers made him famous. You would be surprised at what rappers did before rapping, some worked at wendys, Kroger, Gamestop, some baked cakes, some turned tricks. Basically, anything to make a dollar. If you have kids that are hungry, then you understand, you gotta make it happen. That's what responsible fathers do.

    • True

It does matter, cuz people eventually get sick of the BS and stop checking for your music. Where's Game now? Can't sell a record to save his life.. another fake gangster who lied about his past.

    • Anonymous

We do what we have to do to survive, we go up on work together and work square jobs but its old news we just rehash it to troll white kids online.

    • Anonymous

he didn't have any kids though so miss me with that bullshit. he also didn't have to lie and throw so many people under the bus. thats just the type of man he is, if you can call that a man.

I grew up in Carol City. Rosss grimy tales of drug dealing in Carol City just seems a little dishonest and contrived.

    • me

stupid muthafucka you ever been to brooklyn or chicago or LA plenty of sproting arenas are in fucked up hoods hence why ball players come to certain cities and get jacked nigga just recenty have the fixed area by united center. CHI RAQ. Ross is a fraud he was a CO. Game and Jeezy the last new real niggaz left in the rap game. Say what u want about game but all that shit i heard him being a stripper him getting knoed out him havin a tonue ring never saw none of that shit. however i do see him beatin up the same bitch ass nigga that got baby and wayne shook to come to LA. he was on change of heart but he didnt lie about it. Ross is a fuckin fony he makes good music. Game still be in compton got real og goons and hittaz fuckin wit him!!!!!

And there you have it. OP just went in no homo, this nigga Ross livin fantasies, talkin bout shit that don't exist, making a war zone out of a suburb, a hardcore area out of a cute ass place lol I'm sorry but I just can't respect a nigga that do shit like that

Never knew Dolphin Stadium was in Rozay's hood, LMAO. Thats funny.

  • Anonymous

Fool lied about it in the 1st place.. Bitch ass fake

  • Anonymous

because he denied it and said thats not me the haters photo shopped my body. then he made 4 or 5 stories up to try and justify it instead of just being honest. Eminem denied making racist songs until he was exposed. That's far worse.

    • Anonymous

why do Ross fans always try to bring up Eminem like that makes Williams lies okay? I don't fuck with EM or listen to him but I can tell you he was never a racist as he grew up surrounded by blacks and most of his best friends are black.

  • Bawse

"We gon' keep winning". "We gon' get this money". "We gon...". Blah blah blah. It was funny that he was a CO but not a big deal. After all, the guy's an entertainer now. He didn't need to lie about the CO thing. Sure, we hip-hop heads like our icons to be credible, but we also accept that they're mostly just bullshitting over hot beats.

  • Dessalines Isaac

You can tell Ross was never about that drug game from the way he glamorizes it in his music. Dope boys ain't proud of that but they do what they gotta do. William had a football scholarship and went off to study criminal justice, likely because he had aspirations of becoming a real police officer one day but he didn't have the brains.

THERE IS SOMETHING RETARDED ABOUT THE BLACK RACE N RAP COMMUNITY. YET WE WONDER WHY OTHER RACES TREAT US LIKE RETARDS.FIRST AND FOREMOST RICK ROSS WAS A CORRECTIONAL OFFICER NOT A POLICE. SO YOU FOOLS SHOULD GET THAT STRAIGHT.{WHITE PEOPLE BE SAYING BLACK FOLKS DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE} SECONDLY WHEN DID IT BECOME A CRIME TO GET A JOB TO FEED YOUR FAMILY? DO YOU REALLY THINK ANY OF THESE RAPPERS EVER SOLD DRUGS LIKE THEY RAP ABOUT? NO RAPPER EVER SOLD DRUGS OTHER THAN THE REGULAR BAG OF WEED TO THEIR OWN HOMMIES.NEVER ON A MJOR SCALE. IF YALL BELIEVE WHAT ANY RAPPER RAPS ABOUT THEN U ALSO BETTER BELIEVE THAT SYLVESTER STALLONE, STEVEN SEAGAL AND ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER ARE ALSO A REAL LIFE ACTION HERO. IT IS CALLED ENTERTAINMENT IDIOTS. ITS LIKE WWE. AINT NOTHING REAL. I NEVER HEARD OF ANY DRUG KINGPIN WHO WAS MAKING SO MUCH MONEY FROM SELLING DRUGS THAT QUIT IT FOR RAP.IF IT WAS LIKE THAT BELIEVE ME BLACK PEOPLE WONT BE RAPPING ANYMORE. IT DID BE MEXICANS,COLOMBIANS,RUSSIANS AND ITALIANS. YOUR FAVORITE RAPPER NEVER SOLD A PINCH OF DRUGS. EVER!! NOT JAY-Z, CURTIS JACKSON,JEEZY,SNOOP, THE LOX, GAME,DR DRE,TUPAC,BIGGIE...NOT ONE OF THEM.

    • D

Black people don't if care about the diffrence between a CO or a cop. There both part of the justice system that has been unjust to the grass roots of the black community dumb ass. In many black communities the police are seen as the enemy. Since Hip Hop has lost is roots and culture to the mainstreem it's been redefined by record lables and their definition of hip hop has been swallowed by suburban fans and others who dont know what real hip hop is. As a matter of fact the game is so weak right now with so little talent is you hear someone with a nice beat that sounds halfway decent you think he's the coming of GOD.

    • Anonymous

Sorry but half those cats got criminal records that say otherwise "WHEN DID IT BECOME A CRIME TO GET A JOB TO FEED YOUR FAMILY?" You should ask William that. He still out here making up stories about how he took that job to meet pablo and noreaga instead of just admitting he had a legit job as a young man.

  • Anonymous

I will say this...the fact that a former correctional officer can bold face lie about his life in such an extreme fashion, and do it with such conviction, like he really BELIEVES what hes saying..thats absolutely impressive! Salute.

  • anonymus

He should said that before instead of lying. He still has to make some sort of ammend with the real Rick Ross.

  • Anonymous

I love how he's told his fans 4 different stories about how and why he was a C.O. when he was a young man like he felt he needed to justify having a legit job at that time in his life.

    • Anonymous

He also said he ran with a team and was asked to take that job and that it was "deeper than rap" and he had a sinister motive for it...

"My homey's father was a huge influence on my life, too . . . He was the one who was like, 'Yo, go get a job somewhere, man. Go be a fireman. Or go be a fucking corrections officer. Just go sit down somewhere."

I don't agree with the DJ Vlad beating or the murder of Sam Ferguson over the CO shit but Rap music is a lucrative hustle and a chunk of your money comes from suburbanites and these kids dont know the difference between a Cop or a CO, they dont know anything about 5 niggas investing in half a brick and one of those niggas might be a CO and another one might be a mechanic. You risk losing the suburbanites chunk of money and the nigga panicked and Vlad released the tape....nigga lost a lot of them fans but he gained some new ones too.

Ross, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, came from a middle-class family with educated parents, earned average grades in high school and was a standout football lineman his senior year. He graduated high school, won a football scholarship & spent a year at Albany State University studying criminal justice. His mother was a nurse and his father, whom she divorced, had earned several educational degrees. If Ross initially grew up in a rough neighborhood, he didnt stay. In 1992, when Ross was 16, county records show that his mother, Tommie Roberts, purchased a 2,300 square foot home in Rolling Oaks Estates, an upscale cul-de-sac community in Miami Gardens.

Nobody who's really moving weight would ever think about getting a job in a prison to sell drugs. Yes some COs get paid or extorted to sneak drugs into the jails or to look the other way when shit happens that's as far as that shits gonna go. The nigga lyrics said "Feds tore apart the squad, nigga Thats why I had to play the part" so he's saying the Feds broke up a crime ring that he was a part of and locked his whole crew up so he became a CO to get the connect right? Right!... #1 If he was already part of the crime ring he would have been locked up with everybody else or his name would have been on the FEDs watch list at the very minimum... #2 If he was already in the crime ring he would have already known the connect or know somebody can hook him up wit the connect so there wouldn't be a need for him to be CO. He keeps referencing Boobie (who was the leader of the crime ring) who is in jail...every drug case that ends up with the big fish in jail starts with all of the little fish. Ross would have been in jail before Boobie if he was really down with the team that's just how shit works man. That dude is just a rapper that stole a real drug dealers persona everything from the beard to the bald head and claims he was a kingpin I doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

I remember when he had his bodyguards assault DJ Vlad and put him in the hospital for asking about the truth. That one cost Ricky a few hundred thousand for being so ashamed and insecure about his past. it's important to note that he had no family to feed when he took that job! his mom was upper middle class and living good. This is probably the 4th or 5th time he's changed his story. it seems odd that his crew all got sent away but he somehow didn't catch a single charge or have the feds watching him? If he was really in the crew like that he should have known the connect and been able to keep "hustlin" on the outside as he never had a single charge until 2008! So out of all the jobs one could get he chose to work in a prison? Shit ain't addin up,
