J. Cole is set to host his Dreamville Foundation’s 3rd-Annual Dreamville Weekend from Thursday, March 6th through Saturday, March 8th in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the rapper’s hometown.

“For our 3rd Annual Dreamville Weekend, we really wanted to involve the entire community to help everyone grow as whole,” J. Cole says in a press release. “We are happy that we’ve been able to put together these events that will hopefully encourage our youth to stay on a positive path through our schools and community organizations.”

The weekend is set to include discussion of Tyrell with author Coe Booth, a Dreamville Appreciation Dinner recognizing leaders in schools and community organizations and a Dreamville Youth Conference. Students are also set to attend a Career Day and a movie screening of Fruitvale Station during this Dreamville Weekend.

The Dreamville Foundation says its mission is to reveal to youth their limitless potential through life-altering experiences.

In January, Cole spoke about his Dreamville imprint and his role in the company.

“As an executive it gives me the opportunity to sign acts and break them, but as a producer it allows me to produce someone’s entire album and put it out,” Cole said at the time. “That’s what I really look forward to.”
