During a performance at the House of Blues in New Orleans yesterday (February 14), Drake provided information about Lil Wayne’s forthcoming Tha Carter V album.

“You wanna hear Lil Wayne at his best,” Drake says in a video posted by motahiphop.com, “if you wanna hear Young Money at they best, I mean it’s Carter V May fifth. Just know we about this shit for real.”  

On Sunday (February 9), Drake tweeted about Carter V. 

In June 2013, Lil Wayne said he hopes to retire after Tha Carter V’s release. 

“My next album isn’t Tha Carter V because I think I have to work on other albums with my pop Birdman and things like that,” Wayne said at the time. “But, after Tha Carter V, I hope I can retire.”
