Lil’ Kim announced her pregnancy today (February 13), in an article published by Us Weekly.

“I’m so excited,” Lil’ Kim says in the interview. “I’m a few months along. I can’t wait to be a mom.”

In December, Kim spoke about her status in the culture of Hip Hop. 

“I am definitely the queen,” Kim said at the time. “I definitely see myself as the queen. I am the one who made it possible for females to be sexy. That’s just the bottom line. And [I] still rap hard with the fellas.

“There’s nothing that’s gonna take away from my legacy,” Kim added. “I’m sorry. It is what it is. I’m dying this way. With the crown on my head. Nobody can take nothing away from me.”
