Rick Ross and Jeezy collaborated on the recently released “War Ready,” a selection off Ross’ upcoming Mastermind album, a collaboration that followed a feud between the two rappers. The peace between Jeezy and Ross was reportedly assisted by T.I., according to TMZ.
“T.I. told us he had a heart-to-heart with Jeezy and got him to see he had taken his eye off the ball,” TMZ reports. “He was focusing on bad blood rather than what was important – making money. Jeezy saw the light and Rick ended up seeing things the same way. Not only did they bury the hatchet, they agreed to work together on a new Ross track.”
Problems between Jeezy and Ross date back to at least 2010. In 2012, the two were involved in a scuffle. Footage of the brawl between Jeezy and Ross can be seen here.

Jeezy addressed the altercation days after the reports of their scuffle were published.
“I mean first of all, it was a great awards show,” Jeezy said at the time. “I mean basically, it was just a good show. I went there, got out with Wiz, it was cool, we did our thing. So in the hallway, we’re walking out whatever whatever. So me and him never really seen each other face to face before, and I just felt like he spoke, I spoke, and that was basically it. But at the end of the day, it’s been going on for a while so I just felt like if it was to be handled, it should have been handled there. We either gon’ get past it or keep moving. So in my words, I just feel like a lot of these cats are actor rappers. And I’m Jeezy – they could never be me. That’s just pretty much that.
“At the end of the day, I refuse to be part of this WWF propaganda and B.S. to sell records,” Jeezy continued. “If that’s who you want to be, you want to be a tough guy, you be that way. I’m a boss, I’m a G. That’s just how it is.”

In December 2012, Ross spoke about his feud with Jeezy and about what he would do the next time he saw the rapper. “You gotta understand, with me it’s nothing personal,” he said at the time, as per MTV. “I’m a hands-on-type dude. I’m better with my hands than I am at making music. So it’s not personal, but if I see Young Jeezy again, will I try to choke him? I don’t know. That’s an option. If I see 50 Cent, is it personal? Not at all, but it’s an option.”
