Trinidad Jame$ was arrested for the possession of marijuana after alledgedly smoking in a Batesville, Mississippi hotel room, according to TMZ.
Authorities said that Jame$ was arrested in a Batesville, Mississippi Holiday Inn for smoking marijuana in his room. The Panola County Police Department responded to a hotel staff complaint that marijuana odor was coming from the room and arrested Jame$.
In November, Jame$ made headline when he commented on the state of New York Hip Hop.
