RiFF RaFF tweeted yesterday (January 26) and today (January 27) that his forthcoming NEON iCON album will no longer be coming out tomorrow (January 28).
“SO… i DiDNT WiN A GRAMMY AND i JUST FOUND OUT MY ALBUM GOT PUSHED BACK .. KOOL DAY !! ……… WHAT THE EVERLASTiNG FUCK !!” RiFF RaFF’s tweet from today said.
In October, RiFF RaFF, who was not nominated for a Grammy at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, tweeted that NEON iCON would be released January 28.
In September, LA Weekly did a story on the rapper, who explained why the release date for his album has been delayed several times.
“This is gonna be my best work so that’s why it’s taking so long,” RiFF RaFF said at the time. “We wanna make sure that all the songs are the best. It’s not a mixtape. It’s not going to be like my normal stuff that I just put out. [First single] ‘Dolce & Gabbana’ as far as I’m concerned that ain’t going to be on the album. It ain’t good enough for my album.”
RiFF RaFF’s tweets about NEON iCON‘s release date and the Grammys from today are as follows:
THiS NEON iCON ALBUM iS MY BEST WORK & iT HAS TO BE 790 TiMES BiGGER & BETTER THAN ANYTHiNG TO PROVE THAT iTS NOT A JOKE, SORRY FOR THE WAiT
