During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, reality star Kim Kardashian revealed a handful of details in regards to her upcoming wedding to fiancé Kanye West. According to Kardashian, the wedding is currently scheduled to take place this summer in Paris and will not take place at the Palace Of Versailles, a location both Kardashian and West recently toured.
“We were just taking a tour, but we will be getting married this summer hopefully in Paris,” she said. “It’s like our second home. And we spend so much time there. We have an apartment there. So, we really love it. I’m not telling you where or the date.”
Kardashian, who plans on taking West’s name as her own after their marriage, revealed that the rapper is passionate about the wedding and does plan on taking a proactive role when it concerns the planning of the couple’s wedding.

“I think we’re both equally—You know, I know they think or they say that the guy usually doesn’t care and just shows up,” the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star said. “Kanye really cares and he’s really passionate about it. So, it makes my job so much easier. It makes my job really easy, but I love it cause it just—He knows what he wants and I love that about him. We’re kind of taking different roles. Like he’ll take care of the music. I’ll take care of the seating chart. Like different stuff like that. So, we’re making it really easy on each other.”
Engaged since October, Kardashian and West also welcomed the birth of their first child, North West, last year.
Due to much criticism, the Chicago emcee defended his relationship with Kardashian during an August 2013 interview on Kris Jenner’s talk show, Kris.

“I could have people saying, ‘This is going to damage your credibility as an artist or a designer,'” West said. “And I say, ‘I don’t care. I love this woman.’ Or someone could say, ‘When the paparazzi surround you, everyone knows you don’t like the paparazzi. Why would you be with this person?’ And I’m saying, ‘I’m being with this person because I love this person and she’s worth it to me.”
