Dr. Dre’s immensely popular Beats By Dre brand of electronics has just released its latest commercial for the “Beats Pill,” a portable audio player, which stars both Dre and Kendrick Lamar.

The commercial shows Dre and Kendrick, who is signed to Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment label, recording in the studio together.

The track highlights both artist’s trademark perfectionism, as neither is pleased with the initial take of what appears to be a new collaboration between Dre and Kendrick:

Kendrick released his Aftermath debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city, which was executive-produced by Dre. Dre did not produce any individual tracks, but appeared as a guest on “The Recipe” and “Compton.”
