Frank Ocean’s cousin Sha’Keir Duarte has filed a lawsuit for more than $3 million against Chris Brown stemming from a January altercation outside of a West Hollywood recording studio, according to tmz.com.
Duarte reportedly claims that members of Brown’s entourage hurt him during the fight.
According to tmz.com, Duarte itemized the damages as listed below.

- $1,000,000 for pain, suffering and inconvenience
- $1,000,000 for emotional distress
- $1,000,000 for punitive damages
- $60,000 for medical expenses
Duarte sued Brown in August for injuries suffered in the brawl.
In November, Brown filed a lawsuit against Duarte. Brown accused Duarte of provoking the fight with threats of murder, according to tmz.com. Brown also claimed Duarte kicked and punched him, as per tmz.com.

Also in November, Brown was ordered to spend 90 days in live-in anger management rehab, according to tmz.com.
