Mos Prob proposed to his girlfriend of two years, Rapunsell, during a recent Don’t Flop Battle Rap event.

The rappers were performing as a duo against Enigma and Eek. To finish the match, Prob rapped to Rapunsell and delivered a proposal speech.

“Although I’m about to get lambasted on track repeat for attempting this in a battle, please, I’d kill for you, Jackie,” Prob said, using Rapunsell’s given name. “I love you. Will you marry me?”

Rapunsell cried and hugged Prob to end the clip.

“It worked out,” Prob said in an interview with dailymail.co.uk. “It was really hot on stage. It’s the biggest stage I’ve ever battled on and it got to halfway through the third round and I was like, ‘Okay, it’s actually going to happen.’ I knew it was right, and it could’ve gone terribly. The crowd were quite quiet and they didn’t really know what was going on. Then they cottoned on at one moment and I had the confidence to go on.”

Prob also said that his fiancee was taken aback by the response to the proposal.

“She was pretty much overwhelmed with people saying congratulations after,” he said. “I was too nervous and had too much adrenaline to shed a tear at the time. We watched it back and we bawled our eyes out.”

The full battle featuring Mos Prob and Rapunsell against Enigma and Eek is slated to be released November 27.
