The āAll Gold Everythingā creator even went on to state that the South runs New York City musically and rappers in the area might as well claim the city of Atlanta as their hometown.
āI remember when New York ran this shit, dog,ā said Trinidad. āWhen Dipset was fuckin turned the fuck up. Oh my God. I gotta wear my bandana on tilt like Juelz. What the fuck happened, dog? Yāall got more bloggersāyāall got niggas interviewing more popular than niggas thatās rapping.ā
During his conversation with the audience, who responded with occasional words of approval and disapproval, Trinidad referenced Kendrick Lamarās āking of New Yorkā mention on āControlā and questioned why the Compton rapper is just now getting props for his music.
The Def Jam signee also touched on his upcoming studio album and revealed that the album is better than most projects out.
āI feel like my album is better than all this bullshit that these niggas is feeding you,ā said Trinidad. āItās bullshit, man. Itās bullshit. If it was some real shit Iād tell you itās some real shit. But itās some bull-fuckin-shit. Straight up, manā¦You canāt tell me, anybody out here thatās a real fuckin Hip Hop fan, can tell me that Kendrick Lamar supposed to be platinum just this year. He been that fuckin good. He been that good. He been that fuckin good, dog. He been that good. But now, the nigga that we been knew now heās coming and saying shit like he the king of New York. What is that?ā
