Dee-1 has been added to Lupe Fiasco’s “Tetsuo & Youth Preview Tour.” The Boy Illinois and Stalley are the tour’s other opening acts.

“Touring is my favorite part of this industry.” Dee-1 says in a press release. “Plus Lupe is like a big brother, so going on tour together is going to be exciting. I look forward the experience.”

The tour is slated to stop at The Marquee in Tempe, Arizona today (November 11) and conclude December 15 at Rams Head Live in Baltimore. The full itinerary is below.

Dee-1 is also slated to release his Psalms of David II mixtape November 19.

Last month, Dee-1 signed with RCA Inspiration.

“Signing with RCA is a life-changing partnership that I’m excited to be a part of,” Dee-1 said at the time. “I know we’re about to make history together so I’m motivated to work harder than ever. Coming from New Orleans, I realize that my success is bigger than me. It’s a symbol of hope for others who want to chase their dreams and make a difference in life. So I’m going to make sure that together we all win. #MissionVision.”

The New Orleans rapper released the “Jay, 50, and Weezy” single in 2010, a cut where he imagined a conversation he would have with each artist. But rather than just begging to be signed, Dee-1 saluted each rapper before pointing out ways they could help their communities and the rap community. The clip for the song has been viewed more than 600,000 times on YouTube.

In 2012, Mannie Fresh hosted Dee-1’s The Focus mixtape. Earlier this year, Dee-1 released his Psalms of David mixtape. Its follow-up, Psalms of David II, is slated for a November 19 release. It is set to feature appearances from Master P and PJ Morton, as well as production from Mannie Fresh, KLC and C. Smith.
