J. Period has crafted the Brooklyn Nets Opening Theme for the Brooklyn Nets’ 2013-14 season. The selection serves as the official soundtrack to the team’s opening video, which is scheduled to run prior to player announcements for every Brooklyn Nets home game this season.

The theme, which includes portions of Eminem’s “’Till I Collapse,” is incorporated in a video clip that features Nets players Kevin Garnett, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce and Deron Williams, among others.

J. Period blends the Eminem song, which was featured on the Detroit rapper’s 2002 album, The Eminem Show, with material from the 300 Violin Orchestra for the theme. J. Period also provides original production and drum programming to the selection. The video is below.

In February, J. Period was named music supervisor for the Brooklyn Nets.
