Prezident Bejda of the Murder Master Music Show has interviewed Freddie Gibbs, Fiend, Freeway Ricky Ross, C-Bo, Yukmouth and others during the first 100 episodes of his online show. He says that his show is a place for hardcore rap icons.

“My show is dedicated to the preservation of that real shit, so it’s dedicated to legends, pioneers, and the underground,” says Prezident Bejda in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “I want to tell the story to the youth of who Spice 1 is, or what DJ Ready Red, JT Money and Kokane among others contributed to Hip Hop.”

To commemorate reaching the 100-episode milestone, Bejda compiled the Murder Master Music Show Mixtape Vol. 1, which features snippets from several interviews featured on his show, as well as exclusive material. Bejda says that securing an exclusive C-Bo track for the mixtape was a coup.

“The mixtape was to symbolize and embody what the Murder Master Music Show is all about and getting the song ‘Will You Cry At My Funeral’ by C-Bo with Mississippi on the hook was amazing,” Bejda says. “C-Bo’s homie Big Ike first let me hear a ruff version then they had Mississippi lace the chorus and it came out amazing. To be able to give the fan an unheard C-Bo track is a highlight for me because this is the man that was the favorite rapper of Pimp C and DJ Screw, and also was highly respected by Tupac. C-Bo is a legend in the game.”
