DMX recited verses from The Bible to a fan on the street, according to tmz.com

DMX reportedly stopped to read passages from The Bible while outside of a restaurant because the fan told him she was “going through hard times,” as per tmz.com.

DMX has included a prayer on each of his official studio releases, beginning with his 1998 debut album, Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood. DMX also performs these prayers in concerts.

In July, DMX filed for bankruptcy.
